Acquisition Allows Local IT Services Company to Further Expand Nationally
Dayton, Ohio, August 16, 2021. Net X IT Solutions, the Miami Valley Region’s leading one-stop IT solution, has acquired Tech2Bit, a small business IT services provider serving Columbus, Dayton and Cincinnati.
The acquisition of Tech2Bit allows Net X IT Solutions to expand their diverse client roster, helping more businesses increase productivity and profitability by making IT a streamlined part of operations. By purchasing Tech2Bit, Steven Stratton and his team will gain six new solution architects, system engineers and project managers, ensuring their guaranteed fast turn around for on-site business calls and a 98% customer retention rate.
“This merger is super exciting for us, and will enable us to achieve a more positive client, team member, and community impact as well as value,” said Steven Stratton, who founded the company in 2005. “As the result of this partnership, we have the ability to remain competitive and be more responsive to client IT needs in a rapidly evolving tech services industry.”
The acquisition of Tech2Bit comes on the heels of over a decade of growth for Stratton, who opened Net X IT Solutions in 2005 as a one-person shop focused mostly on standard computer repair. Word spread through referrals, employees were hired, and the company moved to its first storefront in 2008 and opened a second North Dayton location in 2018.
A champion of the greater Dayton region, Stratton envisions the merger as a full-circle win for himself, his team and the community. Ryan Fay a partner at Net X IT Solutions notes “Becoming a larger tech company and combining assets will provide opportunities to leverage resources, position us for growth, and increase efficiencies which in turn will result in returning those savings back to clients in the form of more access, greater value, new technology and services, and higher community giving,”. The child of an Air Force family, Stratton supports eight different local nonprofits annually.
Michael Daley, owner of Tech2Bit, looks forward to the continued success of his team under Stratton’s leadership. “I am confident that Steve, Ryan, and his team at Net X will continue to provide the superb customer service that our clients have come to expect. I wish them the best of luck moving forward!,” said Daley.
